What are some tips for the interviews?Be sure to pay attention to all the emails you’ll be receiving from us to make sure you’re updated on all recruitment information regarding your interviews. During your interview, make sure to be prepared! Practice never hurts. Format your answers in the STAR method. Be concise while still making your point. Bring your resume to give to your interviewers. Make eye contact and offer a firm handshake. Finally, get your interviewers' emails at the end of your interview.

What is the time commitment and can I be involved in other organizations? As you’re becoming a new member, you’ll spend time getting to know our members and the structure of PSE. After your new member semester, you have no required time commitment other than attending weekly chapter. PSE offers multiple leadership positions with different time commitments such as committees, leads, directors, and executive board. Therefore, you are able to be involved in any other organization outside of PSE! We have many members in other organizations such as Greek life, UBWA, USG and more. At the end of the day, PSE is what you make of it. You get out what you put in!

How much does it cost?As a nationally recognized business fraternity, we pay national PSE dues. Additionally, as the Gamma Nu chapter at The Ohio State University, we charge local dues to fund projects, case competitions, and much more! Our dues are much more inexpensive than social Greek life dues.

Is your recruitment process competitive?During the recruitment process, we make several cuts, but that's not intended to scare anyone. This recruitment process allows us to get to know potential new members better and helps find quality new members that will thrive in our chapter. If you do get cut, please don’t be discouraged. We’re here to get to know you and make this process as easy as possible so if you do get cut, please come back out for PSE recruitment another semester!
-
I didn’t receive an email confirmation, how do I know I made it onto the next round? No matter the outcome, you’ll always receive an email from our recruitment team. If you are worried you did not receive one when you should have, please contact us ASAP at pseosu@gmail.com. Feel free to also contact Sophie Petrus or Kristen Boral.
-
Do I have to attend every event? You must attend at least one info session to sign up for our recruitment process, but it is highly encouraged to attend them both to get to know more people! All other recruitment events are required to be attended thereafter.
-
What majors and years are you looking for in new members? We accept ALL majors in Pi Sigma Epsilon! All of our incredible members show our diversity as we have majors ranging from Finance to Health Nutrition. We mainly are looking for Freshmen and Sophomores as we feel that we can develop them the most as they will be involved with PSE for more time. However, juniors are certainly welcome to participate in recruitment.
