Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Our chapter recognizes and understands that no one person has all the answers to solving a problem. Over the years, our chapter has made a major investments in time, money, and other resources to support diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives across our campus. Learn about some of our DE&I initiatives below!
THE DE&I COMMITTEE
While Pi Sigma Epsilon is a business fraternity, the organization is open to students of all majors. Some may not understand why someone who is not a business major would join, however, the mutual benefits that our chapter and that person gain are priceless.
Every person holds identities that makes them unique—even your college major! Not only does our chapter celebrate our members and their different identities, but we teach our members how to use their perspective to drive innovation. No matter your age, race, sexuality, gender, skillset level, major, or other identity, we want you to bring your whole unapologetic self to our family.
In the Spring of 2018, the executive board created the Diversity and Inclusion committee. The committee works to create programming that promotes a deeper understanding and appreciation for diversity and inclusion through member "About Me" presentations, cultural food outings, and the beloved cultural potluck! Additionally, the committee works on community service projects and holds fundraisers that help underrepresented communities in the Columbus area and bring awareness to all individuals and backgrounds.
