Hi! My name is Ian Finnecy, and I’m a third-year Finance major and business analytics minor at The Ohio State University. I joined Pi Sigma Epsilon during the first semester of my freshman year in Fall 2023, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience.  From the very start, PSE exceeded my expectations, providing incredible opportunities for growth, leadership, and connection. Outside of PSE, I am a Teacher’s Assistant for Business Finance 3220 and I participated in the Fisher Business Global Consulting program, where I interned in Madrid. Following that experience, I worked as an Investment Banking Intern in Cleveland, further developing my skills and passion for finance. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned back to PSE and help make this year truly exceptional for our chapter.

In 2025, I had the honor of serving as Vice President of Chapter Operations, where I gained hands-on leadership experience while acting as our chapter’s correspondent with the national organization. This role allowed me to work closely with members to drive our chapter’s success and ensure we met national standards. That experience inspired me to take on the position of President, where I now collaborate with the university, our academic advisor, and other business and professional organizations on campus. My focus is on guiding the chapter, supporting the executive board in achieving their goals, and strengthening PSE’s presence within the Ohio State community!

Hello! My name is Griffin Cochran, and I am a third-year Business Administration major, specializing in Accounting. I joined Pi Sigma Epsilon during the Fall Semester of my second-year, and it was the best decision I have made since stepping foot onto campus. PSE has provided me so many outlets and opportunities for growth both professionally and socially. I knew very early into joining this organization that I wanted to help make change and become a leader within our chapter. I am so thankful for the countless resources available to PSE and our Gamma Nu chapter, it has elevated my academic career in a tremendous way, while also setting me up for the best possible future.

As Vice President of Administration, I am in charge of running our chapter and making sure that everything goes without a hitch. For instance, I keep an eye on each active member's participation and attendance. I oversee risk management and different risk reduction techniques in addition to holding each member accountable. This role is crucial because it makes it possible for every member to feel secure and at ease during all of our extracurricular activities. In keeping with that, I am in charge of coordinating and planning every social event for our chapter. Brotherhood is one of PSE's foundations, and my job is to make sure that every event is fun, interesting, and welcoming to all!

As Vice President of Human Resources, I am responsible for organizing and overseeing recruitment as well as maintaining strong alumni relations. Our chapter recruits new members during both the fall and spring semesters, attracting anywhere from 150 to 350 potential new members. Through our recruitment process, we narrow that number down to 28 outstanding individuals who join our chapter. Our recruitment events include; info sessions, group interviews, resume workshops, meet the members, professional interviews, and pop social. It’s exciting to plan and oversee these events, knowing they bring in amazing new members who will contribute to our organization’s success. I had a great experience during recruitment, meeting so many wonderful people and forming lasting connections. I am looking forward to creating that same positive experience for our potential new members.
